Pork
2 tablespoons bacon fat
1-1/2 lb. lean pork shoulder
1 can pineapple chunks
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3/4 cup sliced green peppers
1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
Brown pork in bacon fat.
In a separate pan, combine Soya sauce, pineapple juice, vinegar, water sugar, cornstarch, salt, cook stirring until thickened.
Add to meat, continue to cook on low for about one hour.
Add vegetables and pineapple about 10 minutes before serving .
